Birdlife MCP Server
Query bird conservation data directly from Claude and other AI assistants.
https://mcp.birdlife.tech/sse What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external data sources. With this server, Claude can query real-time bird sighting data, conservation status, and coverage gaps during your conversation.
Add to Claude Code
Run this command to add the server:
claude mcp add --transport sse --scope user birdlife "https://mcp.birdlife.tech/sse"
Then type /mcp in Claude Code to verify the connection.

Data Sources
This server wraps the Birds API, Hotspots API, and Resolution API. Data comes from eBird and the IUCN Red List, refreshed daily.
The MCP server is private infrastructure — not a reusable package. The underlying APIs are open and documented.
